    Considering I was only there for a short time I had a blast. It's definitely a hole in the wall vibe, speakeasy. It was not very packed but just alive enough to enjoy it.

    The dj was excellent and interacted with the guests, the bartenders were very on top of helping there guests- there is nothing I hate more than not being acknowledged and being ignored at the bar.

    The ginger cocktail we ordered was so good! I would order it a million times over, I'll definitely be back with friends. The atmosphere was super chill.

    Visited from CA with the wife. Nearly walked by this place, but saw it and we made our way down into this basement bar. The place was decently busy, was playing good tunes and was poorly lit so as to make me look more attractive to my wife.

    We ordered up a couple beers which arrived quickly. The beer list was good, not great. A couple of 6% beers and poor lighting really got my marriage back on track so plus one star for that.

    There's plenty of seating and a bouncer who cards you on your way in. Would definitely return here for the good vibes.

    Botanica Bar looks and sounds pretty cool.  It's in a dark basement but we were expecting hipster and then realized wait it's right on Houston street.  

    We ordered our nice and cheap happy hour drinks and before we could say "Rose all day" the place filled up with young 20 something post grad females.   It was a bit chirpy.  What was strange was how there was really hardly any guys.

    The happy hour prices are great but it's really loud and you'll feel like you're stuck in a scene of Legally Blonde.  We tapped out in less than an hour, and left.

    Extremely nice atmosphere with plenty of seating. Come here before 8PM for specials. Great WiFi!

    This place was so fun and the energy here was great. The bartenders were super nice and friendly too which is a plus.

    Glows:
    -Friendly bartenders
    -Decent beer selection
    -Happy Hour goes from 5-8
    -Lively group of patrons

    Make more restrooms lol There was always a line - gender neutral tho so plus

    The place does get packed quickly as it isn't that big so keep that in mind. I'll definitely be coming back again the next time I'm in the area!
